We did not like the price of the meal we had in the garden, it was supposed to have something to do with cooking? We paid 42euros for steak you needed a drill to cut and was uneatable, plus we had a very small helping of salad, the wine was on a tight lead. Apart from that the pool area was covered in ants, also ants in other parts of the hotel.

Great location. Awesome staff. Nice breakfast.

The beds sucked. The wifi in the lobby didn't work so we were forced to use the computer in the bar, which cost about 4 euros per hour. This was particularly annoying as I had some work I had to do and we had specifically picked the Hotel Garbi because it offered free wifi.

Classic, well kept luxury hotel from the 60s. Spacious rooms. We were two adults with one child. The extra bed just fit in the Standard Room, while we had a sofa bed + lots of additional space in the Superior Room. The Standard Room was more charming, though. Lovely pool area set in a beautiful garden. Wonderful to relax there when the beach gets too hot or crowded. Nice, simple lunch menu and bar by the pool. Very nice staff everywhere! Good breakfast buffet, but no granola or dark bread. Loved the fresh orange juice! Located 5 mns walk from the beach in quiet area. Easy to find parking spot on the street just outside the hotel.

No WiFi in rooms. Only by the pool. 5 mns walk to the beach and village, but if you have trouble coping with stairs/hills, the location could be a bit of a problem. We loved it though - meant beautiful views and nice breeze through the pine trees!

Magical setting, the outside terraces under the pines were serene and a throwback to the Mediterranean of 50 years ago. Despite our late summer visit, the hotel was immaculate and clean, with none of the ennui that pervades some hotels at the end of a long season. Wi-fi is now installed (Sept'13) throughout the hotel and works fine (see prior reviewers). Hotel safe rented at 2euros/day. Seaview room is well worth having - but if you can't, the hotel has a terrace with glorious seaviews available to everyone, which is generous and considerate. The special dinners (tuesday, thursday and saturday) are excellent (food &value for money) and well worth patronizing.

Breakfast didn't start until 8.00 - tough for golfers/hikers/biking fans who want an earlier start before the heat kicks in. A few more amenities in the hotel (such as an ice machine, ice bucket, wine glasses) would be helpful. Maybe a fridge available to rent (as with the safe). Only wastebin is the tiny bathroom bin. Hotel plumbing was noisy.
